We’ve just completed a quick job for a client and he sent back this email:

“Thanks very much, it is everything I was expecting and more. You guys are great.”

It’s really satisfying to get comments like this and it shows that we are appreciated.

Some companies I know are reluctant to ask for testimonials as they fear what they might hear!

I am completely open and want to get feedback whether it is good or bad. Sure we sometimes make mistakes and have to hold our hands up and take responsibility.

I would much rather do this and be able to rectify the situation than hide away and try to avoid the issue.

Do you feel confident to ask your clients for testimonials? Be bold and ask them. You will be amazed at the comments you get back and, generally, how positive they are.

And then use them in your marketing material to see how it really propels your sales.
